Mr. Freddie Wayne Daniel, age 75, a resident of Ethridge, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Brandon Cochran officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Freddie was born on November 10, 1949, in Winchester, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Charles Taylor Daniel and the late Hannah De Lila Ann Hairel Daniel. He attended school in Maury County and was baptized at Sharp’s Corner Church of Christ in Columbia, where he was a member. Freddie enjoyed fishing and riding motorbikes. He worked nearly 30 years at Grubbs Sheet Metal Company and later spent more than 10 years at Lynch’s Equipment, where he worked on tractors. Freddie was known for his playful sense of humor, especially with the ladies, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Teresa (Bill) Webb of Ethridge and Kevin Daniel of Columbia; brother, Raymond (Pam) Daniel of Spring Hill; sisters, Jullie (Chuck) Van Zandt of Columbia, Rita Mosley of Lewisburg, Christine (Eddie) Sparkman of Theta, and Bell (Ronnie) Fitzgerald of Rally Hill; grandchildren, Ken (Shannon) Webb, Ashley (Trent) Cotham, Kristie (Dewayne) Glass, Shane Daniel, and Cody Daniel; great-grandchildren, Robert (Brittney) Webb, Todd Webb (Katie Boshers), Bryson Glass, Jayden Cotham, Bryleigh Odom, Kyliegh Odom, Alyssa Glass, Reagan Glass, Jenson Glass, and Titus Glass; and great-great-grandchildren, Jude, Natalie, Sawyer, and Lincoln Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Daniel; brother, Leon Daniel; and sisters, Maye King and Ann Matthews.
