Emma Lee Whitaker Trotter, age 84, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, December

28, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home

with Rev. Trent Ogilvie officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell AME Church Cemetery. A

visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the funeral home.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Columbia, Debra Whitaker (Albert) Jordan of Dayton, OH, Myra Kaye Whitaker of Indianapolis,

IN, Brenda Faye (Howard) Holmes of Monessen, PA; nephews: Jeffery (Ella) Whitaker, Tyrone

Whitaker of Columbia, Louis Ray Moore of Roxbury, MA; great nieces: Tedra Polk (Darius)

Gardner, Tara Polk of Columbia, Aubrey Holmes of Monessen, PA; great nephews: Jermaine

(Kisha) Webster of Pulaski, TN, Howard IV (Melody) Holmes, of Phoenix, AZ; sister in laws:

Hattie Andrews Whitaker of Columbia, and Ona Mae Mostiller Whitaker of Indianapolis, IN; a

devoted cousin: Virginia Gayle Martin of Columbia and several great-great nieces and cousins.

Emma Lee is preceded in death by her parents: Andy and Hulda (Anderson) Whitaker; Husband:

Albert Trotter, Jr; daughter: Stephanie Trotter; sister: Lillie Mae Whitaker Moore and brothers:

Horace Whitaker, Granville Whitaker, and Carl Whitaker.
