Elizabeth Jane Olson

Elizabeth Jane Olson, age 85, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 21, 1940 in Beccaria Township, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Edgar and Winifred Keith. She married Leonard Olson in 1959. They moved from Pennsylvania to South Lyon, Michigan, and finally to Tennessee to be with their grandchildren.

Known by most as “Granny”, she loved hosting her family for dinner, spoiling her grandchildren, and never let anyone leave hungry. If she was not watching The Beverly Hillbillies or Wheel of Fortune, she was out shopping or watching her great-grandchildren at their school or sporting events.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Terry) Collyer of Culleoka, son, Gregory Olson of Columbia, grandchildren, David (Kelly) Collyer, Courtney (Michael) Roberts, great grandchildren, Teddy, Maggie, Cece, Lily, and Josey, and her beloved dog, Buddy.
