Ed "Crazy Ed" Mitchem

Edward “Crazy Ed” Mitchem, age 63, a resident of Lobelville, formerly of Columbia, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his residence.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 1, 1956 in Iaeger, West Virginia, Ed was the son of Bobbie Jean Caskey and the late Paul Joseph Mitchem. He previously worked as an auctioneer. Ed is survived by his daughter, Lakin Shapiro of Columbia; sisters, Trudy Mitchem of Bristol and Beth Riddle of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a friend to many and liked by all. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
