Doris Diana Barton

Doris Diane Barton, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on June 13, 2026, at Murray Regional Hospital.

Doris was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, on May 19, 1946, to William Andrew Faulkner and Lily Belle Hall Faulkner.

Doris was a very hard worker with a big heart. She was always taking care of others and loved her family deeply. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed tending her flower beds, growing a garden, and going to yard sales. She was a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tommy Barton; her son, Ricky Morton of Nashville, Tennessee; her stepson, Steve Barton of Florida; her stepdaughter, Carrie Barton of Clarksville, Tennessee; her surviving sisters, Mary and Christine; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew Faulkner and Lily Belle Hall Faulkner; her daughters, Donna Condra and Belinda Tinin; her brothers, Allen, Bobby, Vernon, Albert, and Donnie; and her sisters, Grace, Flossie, and Danise.

Doris was cremated and will be buried at Old Etheridge Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
