Dennis G Willis

Dennis G. Willis, age 74, husband of Alese Willis, and a resident of South Hood Road in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on November 2, 1950, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Dennis was the son of the late Bea Willis and the late Kate Adams Willis. He worked many years at Murray Ohio in Lawrenceburg before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Alese, of fifty-five years, he is survived by his sons, Wade Willis, Russ (Casey) Willis, grandchildren, Katlin (Dakota) Watts, Emma, Chloe, Jon, and Sophie Willis, great grandchildren, Nolan and Mia Watts, sister, Ruby Story, sisters in law, Betty Ann Willis, Carolyn Willis, and Danette (Bob) Winkler, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joe (Dorothy) Willis, WL Willis, Wayne Willis, Glenn Willis, Lynn Willis, Maggie Willis, Wynell Willis, Connie Willis, Berthie McGee, and Dean Willis, and grandson, Tyler McFall.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
