Dennis L Nagel

Dennis L. Nagel, age 81, husband of Susan Dunnavant Nagel, and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. 

Born on September 17, 1943, in Enid, Oklahoma, Dennis was the son of the late Vincent Nagel and the late Ruth Ketts Nagel Huffman. He dedicated 28 years of honorable service to the United States Air Force, retiring with distinction in February 1989. On May 10, 1986, Dennis married the love of his life, Susan, and together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures. Dennis found joy in golfing, gardening, and exploring the world through travel. He was a member of Billings Christian Church in Oklahoma.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel (Jalyn) Nagel, Ronald (Jeanette) Nagel, Christopher Nagel, Darien Nagel, and grandchildren, Alexis Nagel and Joshua Nagel. 

He will be laid to rest in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
