Delores "Miss Dodie" Mele of Columbia, Tennessee

Delores Ann “Miss Dodie” Mele, age 79, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Delores was born on February 27, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan.   She was a faithful church member and had a servant’s heart.  Delores had a passion for fostering dogs and loved all animals, especially her beloved dog, Rusty.  Above all, Delores’ greatest joy was spending quality time with her family.

Delores is survived by her sons, Giacomo (Lauren) Mele and Dean Mele, and granddaughter, Giana Mele.

Delores was preceded in death by her brother, George Stuckey.
