David William Buechner of Columbia, Tennessee

David William Buechner, age 81, a resident of Columbia, passed away, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his residence.

A private ceremony hosted by family and friends will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

David was born on September 23, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. He bravely served his country as a captain in the Air Force, and later worked as a teacher.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons: David (Robin) Buechner, Grant Buechner; and three grandchildren: Alexandria Buechner, Sarah Buechner, and Tiffany Viellea.

David was preceded in death by his brother: Edward Buechner.
