Cynthia Lynn Hope, age 62, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday morning, September 11, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

Born on June 16, 1964, in Beckley, West Virginia, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Frank Hope and the late Judith McGrady Hope. She was a 1982 graduate of Swartz Creek High School in Michigan and later went on to earn her associate degree. Cynthia located to Tennessee in 1991 and dedicated twenty-nine years of her career to serving as a lab assistant at Williamson Medical Center.

Cynthia was deeply involved in the Girl Scouts, beginning her journey as a leader and eventually serving as a National Delegate. She found joy in including cooking, sewing, and embroidery. She especially loved traveling to Disney World, which held a special place in her heart, and she enjoyed spending time camping with her loved ones.

Above all, Cynthia cherished her family and treasured the time she spent with them, especially her beloved grandchildren. Cynthia was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Kevin) Hamilton, brother, Frank (Karen) Hope, II, sister, Victoria Hope, grandchildren, Annelise, Emery, and Silas Hamilton, and nieces, Lauren, Sarah, and Kendyl Hope.
