Cornelius Hooper, Jr.

Mr. Cornelius Hooper Jr (55), a resident of Columbia, passed away on Saturday morning, March 15, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born March 27, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of Cornelius Sr. and Shellene Hooper. Cornelius and his wife Tamika Copeland Hooper spent 23 loving years together. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle.

A man of many talents, he had a passion for cooking, watching movies, listening to music, gaming, and graphic design. Cornelius had an infectious smile and a laugh that was contagious.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his sister, Katrina (Max) Munson, nephew, Delano Matthews Jr., and niece, Kassidi Matthews. Cornelius will be greatly missed by all that adored him.
