Charlotte Ann Reynolds

Charlotte Ann Reynolds, age 88, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, formerly of Waterford, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Charlotte is now in the sweet arms of Jesus.

Born on September 25, 1937, in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Beatrice Johnson. She was the beloved wife of Dale Reynolds for the past sixty-seven years. She was the dear mother of Tim (Sandi) Reynolds, Mark (Dottie Ann) Reynolds, Julie Ann (the late Jeff) Hardin. She was a wonderful grandmother to the late Cortney, Tiffany (Adam), Melannie, Jennifer (Brea), the late Bailey Ann, Rachel Ann (Josh), Drew, Abigail Ann, Jeffrey, and Jonathan. She was great grandmother to Maiya Ann, Ella, Charlotte Ann, and Amelia. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was the kindest soul. She was proud to pass on her middle name to two more generations in the family. She loved reading, sewing, canning, cross-stitch, ceramics, building puzzles, and she especially enjoyed spending time playing games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her early years, she went back to school to get her degree as a Library Paraprofessional and worked as the Librarian at Leggett Elementary School in Waterford. Her love for reading continued into her retirement years as she volunteered at the Spring Hill Library in Tennessee where they retired.

Charlotte was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was often found teaching preschoolers in a Sunday School classroom and volunteered as the Librarian at her church in Michigan. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral service for the immediate family only will be held at Heritage Funeral Home and Maury Memorial Gardens, 609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM with immediate burial following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Spring Hill Library.
