Brian Lee Dodd, 48, of Fairview, passed away on September 5, 2026 in Santa Fe in a tragic motorcycle accident.
Brian was born in Nashville to Hugh and Judy Dodd on April 14, 1978. He grew up in Franklin and went to Franklin High School. He worked as a Loader/Heavy Equipment Operator at Rogers Group. Brian never met a stranger and was loved by so many friends and coworkers. He embodied the motto “Work Hard, Play Hard” and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He tackled life’s obstacles with a hardworking spirit and stubborn determination and was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle and grandfather to his loving family. He had a deep passion for motorcycles and loved the freedom and peace of the open road. Riding brought him a sense of adventure and joy that he loved to share with those around him.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh Dodd Sr. and Ophelia (Sweeney) Dodd and Bennie Reed Sr. and Daisy Pauline (Holt) Reed.
Brian is survived by his sons, Joseph (Amanda) Dodd and Jarek Dodd, his daughters, Jasmine (Johann) Hayden and Jayden “Lexie” Sanders, his brothers, Adrian Dodd and Johny Dodd, and sister, Jodie (Joe) Jolie, parents, Hugh and Judy Dodd, grandchildren, Ronin Dodd and Kylah Hayden, nieces, Jade Dodd, Celia Dodd, Baylee Dodd, Ivy Dodd, Lily Dodd and nephew, Hunter Jolie and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private viewing will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 with cremation to follow.
Celebration of life and memorial ride to be held at a future date.
