Brenda Joy Guthrie

Brenda Joy Guthrie, age 77, a resident of Columbia, passed away August 27, 2025 at NHC Columbia. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A graveside service will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 12PM with Rick Points officiating.

Brenda was born in Giles County and was the daughter of the late Jesse Guthrie and the late Lucy Hutton Guthrie. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Brenda enjoyed a simple life and enjoyed crafting. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Guthrie and sisters, Karen (Tom) Skinner and Myra (Steve) Osborne.
