Bobby Glen De Priest

Bobby Glen De Priest, age 61, a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Bobby was born on October 3, 1964, in Tucson, Arizona, and was the son of the late Robert Paul De Priest and Polly Ann Whitaker De Priest. He was a graduate of Culleoka High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army before being honorably discharged. Bobby later worked for several years at Food Lion.

Bobby was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially during his younger years. Above all, though, he had a special love for animals. He had a tender heart for those who were unable to care for themselves and would often feed a hungry or starving animal before feeding himself. Bobby was a giving man who never hesitated to help when he could. His compassion for animals was a true reflection of the kindness and generosity he carried throughout his life.

In addition to his mother, Polly Ann Whitaker De Priest, Bobby is survived by his brothers, David (Debra) Sheffer and Todd De Priest; sisters, Lynn Baggett, Jo Anna (David) Rockwell, and Laura (Ken) Kirtley; and many nieces and nephews.
