Bobby James Brewer age 80, a resident of Lewisburg, formerly of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at NHC Lewisburg.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Highland Methodist Church Cemetery, in Waynesboro, TN. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on October 15, 1943, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, Bobby was the son of the late Doc Brewer and the late Oma (Smith) Brewer. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sons, Taylor (Penny) Brewer of Lewisburg, TN, Ronnie (Chan) Brewer of Petersburg, TN, and daughter Penny (Derrick) Griggs of Clifton, TN, grandchildren; Matthew Brewer, Makayla Brewer, Christian Shadix, and Hannah Beachy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Condred Brewer, Cranston Brewer, Elliott Brewer, E.J. Brewer, Hassell Brewer, Bill Brewer, and Carl Mac “Goody” Brewer, sisters; Christine Lindsey, Alora Selger, Cleta Brewer, and Norma Jean Scarentino.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff of NHC Lewisburg for the care they provided.
