Angela Kay Hill, age 55, of Columbia, Tennessee, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 20, 2026.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Eric Nichols officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her parents at Maury Memorial Gardens.

Born on November 1, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina, Angie was the daughter of the late James Hill and the late Sondra Pennington Hill. Angie was a 1989 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She graduated from Columbia State Community College in 1997 with an associate’s degree in nursing. After working for several years at Maury Regional Medical Center as a surgical nurse, she transitioned to school nursing. She worked at both Richland Elementary School and Richland High School for many years. During her years as the nurse at Richland Elementary and High Schools, Angie touched many lives and was a blessing to the students she cared for. Angie was recognized as Giles County Citizen of the week for her contributions in helping Richland Elementary School get 6th out of 58 schools in the annual pull-tab collection fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. She was always willing to help anyone in need and had a special love for animals.

Angie loved Jesus with her whole heart. Her life was rooted in faith, and her greatest desire was for others to know the Lord as she did. She said she would choose to do this all over again if it meant one person came to Christ — a reflection of her selfless spirit and deep devotion.

In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hill; and her three precious babies whom she carried in her heart — Jessica Rose, Jonathan Lane, and Faith.

She was a loving mother to Michaela (Austin) Grzechowiak, Olivia (Jarred) Coles, Gabrielle (Rhett) Strickland, and a proud Nana to Kamryn Houston, Bentley White, Kynzlee Grzechowiak, Carter Grzechowiak, Micah Hill, Saint Grzechowiak, and Calvary Grzechowiak. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeff Hill and Beth (Gary) Taylor, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Her family was her greatest earthly blessing, and she cherished each one deeply. She is also lovingly remembered by her special friend and devoted caregiver, Amanda Ingram, whose care, compassion, and friendship meant so much to Angie and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Angie’s memory to Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave, Columbia, TN 38401 or Rubies and Rogues, 111 Jackson St, Spring Hill, TN 37174.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Austin Grzechowiak, Jarred Coles, Kevin Ingram, Gary Taylor, Garrison Taylor, Josh Holliday, Devin Dobbins, and Jeff Hill

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now with the Lord she loved so dearly.
