Amy Michelle Morris

Amy Michelle Morris, age 43, resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 2:00 pm until the service hour.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Amy was born September 18, 1980, and graduated from Spring Hill High School. She had a creative side, making beaded jewelry, doing diamond paintings, and even starting a quilt. She had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly fishing and kayaking. Her most cherished moments were spent with her girlfriends, Angela Stange and Allison Wood. They were affectionately known as the Triple A girls by some. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Morris; mother and father, Angela and Rick Elmore of Columbia; children, Angela Morris (Quinton) of Columbia, Layne Morris of Culleoka, and Amanda “Gracy May” Morris of Culleoka; grandfather, David Key (Mama Faye) of Nashville; aunt, Cindy (Gary) Allen of Foley, AL; her other acquaintances that were like family, Mary (Steve) Stange, also known as Nana and Paps, and Kynzley Dunning that was like a daughter; and one grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Key and uncle, Alan Key.
