Georgia Dunnavant

Georgia Berryhill Dunnavant, age 69, a resident of Pulaski, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin with Eddie Rogers officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. A native of Lawrence County, Georgia was born on June 1, 1943. She was the daughter of the late James Lowe and Odessa Smith Berryhill. Georgia was a sweet, complementary person who loved fashion. Her appearance was important to her, and dressing up always made her feel good. She especially loved Coca-Cola, and everyone who knew her couldnt help but love her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children: Ken Dunnavant of Ohio, Tim Dunnavant of Knoxville, Angela McClain of Franklin; two sisters: Sarah Rice of Texas, Geri Clifton of Loretto, TN; ten grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece and care giver: Sherry Brown of Columbia; and special friends: Lorene Hickman of Columbia and Judy Maag of Hohenwald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Dunnavant; brothers: Jimmy, Jasper, Tommy, Billy Joe Berryhill, and an unnamed baby; and sisters: Lena Mae Durham and Eleanor Berryhill.
