Judy Ann Negri

July 13, 1952 - March 4, 2013

Mrs. Judy Ann Soldman Negri, age 59, wife of Jerry Negri, and a resident of Gene Fitzgerald Road in Columbia, passed away, Monday, March 4, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 10th at 6:00pm at the Knob Creek Baptist Church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family. Judy was born in Athens Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Fount Milton Soloman and the late Jewel Collins Soloman. She graduated from Murfreesboro Tennessee State University with a masters degree in education. She was an employee of Lewis County Middle School and attended Knob Creek Baptist Church. Judy truly cared about every person who entered her life. She was a compassionate person who used her talents to created special gifts for others. Knitting, crocheting, stamping, embroidering were just some of her crafting talents. Her kindness and gentle spirit will be missed by her family and friends. Along with her husband Jerry, Judy is survived by her step-sons: Gerald Negri, Jr. and Matthew P. Negri, both of Merritt Island, FL; step-daughter: Lisa Ann Gaither of Gaither, MD; brothers: Milton Soloman and Michael Soloman of Prospect, TN; and sister: Anita Broudssard of Prospect, TN.
