Ruby Lee Bonds, age 80, of Guntersville, AL, residing in Columbia, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 from the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. She is survived by her son, Phillip (Jayne) Bonds; grandson, Clayton P. Bonds; and sister, Garnet Melton. Mrs. Bonds was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton J. Bonds; parents, Jasper & Nannie Combs; and sisters, Lucille Smith, Jan Melton, Maxine Hall, and Hazel Farler.
