Melanie Mayberry, age 49, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd at 5:00 pm at the Newtown Church of Christ, Spring Hill. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Melanie was born in Fayetteville, TN on June 24, 1964. She was the daughter of the late Tommy Sandlin and Gloria Lawson. She married the love of her life, Larry Mayberry. Along with her husband, Larry Mayberry, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Christopher McMeen and Shakara Mayberry and her mother Gloria Lawson. Melanie was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Sandlin.
