John A. Blair

September 4, 1932 - July 14, 2014

Dr. John Alexander Blair, age 81, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at The Heritage Health Care Center in Brentwood, Tennessee following a brief illness. There are no public services planned for Dr. Blair. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Dr. Blair was a graduate of Michigan State University with a doctorate in Veterinarian Medicine. He operated a private veterinarian practice for his vocation. He was also a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He is survived by his three daughters, Carmi Swanson, Alede Hardin and Lisa Banker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Krug Blair, his father, John Washburn Blair, and his mother Elizabeth Alexander Alden Blair.
