Michael Waldon Payne, age 22 and a resident of Culleoka passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his residence. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Buie officiating in the Chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will also visit with friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Michael was born on January 4, 1992 in Columbia, TN, and was the son of Hank Payne and Tammy Smith. Michael was a driver for Concrete Company and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He loved to ride Harley's and play his guitar and write music. Michael is survived by his parents: Hank Payne and Tammy Smith; sister: Kaley Payne; grandparents: Robert Waldon Payne; Libby Lucille Payne; Kathy Johnson; and several aunts; uncles and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by grandfather: David Smith, Sr. Pallbearers are: Family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are: Class of 2010 Culleoka H.S.
