Macarthur Harvell

Mr. Macarthur " Mack " Harvell, 63, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passes away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Health & Rehab. Funeral services for Mack will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to service time on Saturday. Born July 5, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, he was the son of the late Robert and Pauline Harvell. A 1970 graduate of Haylong High School in Mt. Pleasant, he was a self employed in construction. Mack was well known for his ability to make people laugh, it was said that he should have been a comedian. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings: Robert (Eleanor) Harvell, Orstine Harvell, Cary (Samuel) Giles, Clara (David) Hylick; sister-in-law: Lily Harvell; uncles: Curtis McKnight and John (Girldene) McKnight; a host of nieces and nephews. Mack will truly be missed by all that knew him, because he touched each and everyone in a special way. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all for their words and sympathy during this time and especially to Ethelene Mayes for being a supportive friend.
