Dennis Charles Ward

Dennis Charles Ward, age 18, resident of Chapel Hill, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on October 30, 1996, in Knoxville, TN, Dennis was the son of Jeniffer Smith. He was a graduate of Independence High School in Thompson Station, and a member of New Grace Baptist Church. He loved the arts, especially drafting. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Tyler Ward; sister, Madison Smith; grandparents, Robert and Patricia Prentiss; step-father, Joe Smith, Jr.; and uncle, Joseph Mccoy.
