Pearl Estes Morgan, age 64, a resident of Walnut Street in Columbia, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Monty McCandless officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Mt. Pleasant, Pearl was the daughter of the late Homer David and Alice Kennedy Estes. She was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church in Columbia. She loved the Lord and was very active in her church. Pearl often enjoyed going camping, but she most of all enjoyed being a homebody, staying at home babysitting her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons: Richie (Latisha) Seagraves of Columbia, Joey Morgan of Culleoka; daughters: Mitzi Morgan, Tammy Morgan of Michigan; brothers: David Ray Estes of Columbia, Homer Don (Denvy) Estes of Mt. Pleasant, Tony Ray Estes of Mt. Pleasant; sisters: Shirley Ann Adams of Hampshire, Linda Sue Stewart of Columbia, Elizabeth Jane (Terry) Cothran of Columbia, Carolyn Fay (Steve) Underwood of Decatur, Alabama, Brenda Kay (Terry) Golden of Lewisburg; grandchildren: Richie Seagraves, Kole Seagraves, Cristian Rosales, Jaydon Rosales, Ashleih Morgan; great-granddaughters: Kaitlyn Morgan, Karley Morgan, Brantley Morgan, Morgan Forshee; special friend: James Adams; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Morgan and grandchild, Brad Morgan. Pallbearers will be: Richie Seagraves, Matthew Golden, Terry Cothran, Jr., Kevin Kennedy, T.J. Golden, Timmy Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tommy Stewart, Michael Estes, Donald Estes, Joey Underwood, Daniel Underwood, Josh Golden, and Blake Kennedy. The family requests memorial donations be made to PUSH for Lucas Fund: P.O. Box 11, Culleoka, TN 38451.
