Kathleen Ann Simmons, age 58, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on March 4, 1957 in Chicago, IL, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Howard and Shirley Pollack West. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing. She also loved her family and her African Grey bird named Smokey. Kathleen is survived by her Husband: Perry Simmons; Son: Chris West of Columbia; Brother: Scott West of Columbia; Sister: Roberta (Mark) Deming of Chicago, IL; and Grandchildren: Liliana West and Noah West.
