Mary Ola Clark

June 13, 1923 - December 31, 2016

Mary Ola Clark, age 93, passed away Saturday morning, December 31, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. James Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Mary was born on June 13, 1923. She worked at Durango Boot in Franklin for over ten years and later at Tam’s Mills in Columbia as a seamstress for several years. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting, as well as, dancing, traveling, and going to auctions. Mary was a loving mother who especially loved all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: James Paul Clark of Chattanooga, Mary Irene (Gary) Starr of Summertown, Tim (Wanda) Clark of Columbia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Eugene Clark; and children: Roy Lee, Wilma Jean, Donny Austin, Kitty Francis, and Ricky Eugene Clark.

Pallbearers will be: Tim Clark, Jr., Randall Clark, Gary Starr, Jerry Moore, Jerry Moore, Jr., and Mikey Collier. Honorary pallbearers will include: The staff at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation Center and the staff of Hospice Compassus.
