Michael Roger McCormick, age 28, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

A visitation will be held on Monday from 10AM-12PM at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home in Rockford, Illinois. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Born on July 26, 1988 in Rockford, IL, Michael was the son of Rick Eugene McCormick and Theresa Marie Derrickson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Rylee McCormick; brothers: Nicholas, Timothy, Joseph, and Daniel McCormick; sister: Ashley McCormick; grandmothers: Brenda Young and Lois Derrickson; two nieces and two nephews.
