Catherine Newcomb

May 14, 1958 - July 19, 2017

Catherine Elizabeth Newcomb, age 59, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Blowing Springs Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Catherine was born May 14, 1958 to Paul D. Witz and Jane Dunn in Detroit Michigan. She was a Christian and a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother that never gave up. She helped others loving others unconditionally. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Catherine is survived by a daughter; Amanda Jane Newcomb of Mt. Pleasant, a son; Paul Newcomb of Columbia, grandchildren; Camden Paul Staggs and Cadence Brailee Newcomb, and sister; Lynn Daniels of Summertown.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Spencer Newcomb and a brother; Barton Wood.
