Willie Howard Burns

July 12, 1938 - October 23, 2017

Mr. Willie Howard Burns, age 79, a resident of Woolard Road in Santa Fe, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10AM at Adkison Cemetery with Sis. Ines Jones officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Howard was born on July 12, 1938 in a log house off Chestnut Ridge Road in Maury County to Malcomb Burns and Irene Brady Burns. He attended Santa Fe School and served his country in the United States Army. Howard was a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ. He and his brother enjoyed digging Ginseng roots. Howard also loved car racing and wrestling.

He is survived by his brothers: Robert Burns of Goodlettsville and Frank Burns of Santa Fe.
