Robert Keith Kirk

March 17, 1960 - April 15, 2011

Mr. Robert Keith Kirk, age 51, loving husband of Lisa Marie (O’Dell) Kirk and a resident of I.L. West Road in Columbia, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 15, 2011.

A private memorial service for Mr. Kirk will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 1:00 pm their home with Rick Sherrill officiating. Their address is 2577 I.L. West Road in Columbia. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and is assisting the family.

A native of Flint, Michigan and a resident of Tennessee for the past 22 years, he was the son of the late Thomas Eugene Kirk and the late Rowlena Lavena Stephenson. He worked as a machinist at Apcom in Franklin. He was of the Baptist faith. If you were to describe Robert, you would say that he was truly a devoted family man. He loved to fish and he spent many hours outside taking care of his lawn and certainly enjoyed the outdoors; but nothing could compare to spending time with his wife and family. Then when his grandbabies came along, he (Paw Paw) found a new highlight in his life. His grandbabies were “his world”.

In addition to his loving wife, he left behind to cherish his memory two daughters: Felishia Marie (Nic) Thompson of Columbia, TN and Amanda Ann Willburn of Juneau, Alaska; two sons: Cory James Kirk and Jonathan Robert (Alisha) Osbon both of Columbia, TN; his mother-in-law Pamela Jane Kern of Columbia, TN; a brother, David Eugene (Colleen) Kirk of Chapel Hill, TN; two sisters: Rebecca Anne (Terry) Green of Flint, MI and Deborah Kay (Jeff) Watson of Columbia, TN; three grandchildren: Addison McAllister, Brooklyn Thompson and Azlyn Osbon; and several nieces and nephews.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.heritagefhcs.com.
