Mr. Daniel G. Goff, age 62, husband of Sheryl Goff and a resident of Lewisburg, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Murfreesboro.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 27th at 7pm in chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with military honors following the service, provided by the United States Army. The service will be officiated by Reverend Mike Giles, minister of The Lord’s House of Prayer of Lewisburg. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 2pm until the service hour at 7pm. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Daniel was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was the son of the late Daniel Gene and Gladys Goff. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army and having served three tours in Vietnam. Daniel was a carpenter that loved to build. He was a very kind hearted and happy man that had a special place in his heart for kids. He would hand out popsicles to all the kids in his neighborhood. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Along with his wife Sheryl, he is survived by a daughter, Marion Ogrodowski of Brownsville, PA and two sons.
