Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC - Columbia was established in May 2006 and opened its doors to serve the public November 2006. In December of 2008 our new facility at 609 Bear Creek Pike opened. Shortly after, in May of 2009 we were proud to announce the new operations of Maury Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home.
From the beginning, Heritage has considered itself "Another Excellent Choice" for the people of Maury County and surrounding areas.
Allowing us to provide that same caring, compassionate service is what lead to the addition of Franklin Family Funeral Service & Cremations in early 2011. Today, the firm is also known by the Heritage name, now providing "Another Excellent Choice" to the people of Williamson County and surrounding areas.
The owners and licensed and non-licensed staff of Heritage are friendly, compassionate and honest by reputation, and dedicated to providing professional service to the families we serve.
At our Columbia location we offer the use of our “Tombstone Hearse”, a customized Harley Davidson Motortrike along with a custom-made funeral coach. Whether you are a motorcycle enthusiast, a businessman, grandmother, or just because you like to be different, we are providing another way for you to have a personalized and unique funeral service for yourself or loved one.
Maury Memorial Gardens is a beautifully landscaped cemetery that includes 14 burial gardens with areas providing you the choice of a granite monument or bronze marker. Your family may also establish their own Family Estate with above ground crypts, or select from our Chapel Mausoleum/Niche facility. This facility offers fully accessible mausoleum and niche spaces around the outside, or secure, more exclusive areas inside our climate controlled chapel area. In addition, glass-front niches are also available inside the Chapel Mausoleum.
